I know it's supposed to be a flower,
but once I had all my pre-cut pieces spread out,
my mind couldn't see past the duck!
I started with an unfinished wood frame.
After base coating the frame blue, I found coordinating
ric rack to glue around the edges.
Rather than a photo, I used fabric in the frame opening.
A little bling ... a little Extreme Glitter ...
and it's a Duck Frame!
Peace!
CLEVER! And adorable! I love your little duck!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen!
ReplyDeleteThis would make a great baby gift. I love how you changed it up by placing the fabric in the center- you are so lucky to be able to paint like you do meggan!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you went with your very first and immediate idea- this is adorable! I love how you illustrated the duck with his feet sticking up in the foreground- that is just darling! Thank you so much for showing your creativity and for using my die, Beauty Bloom.

ReplyDeleteThis is so very clever. I never would have seen the duck in those shapes before and now I can't see anything but a duck. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch a very, very clever idea! I would say you were thinking "outside the petals" on this and the results was very cool!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all...making a duck out of the bloom is simply genius! Very clever...the little flowers add just the perfect touch to your frame.
