Earth Day - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle

Earth Day Canvas by megpiedesigns

If you're hopping through the loop today looking for inspiration
for Easter bunnies and colored eggs ...

... you're probably wondering why my page is full of pelicans and lake fish.

(well) I've spent the last few weeks gearing up for our
First Annual Earth Day Celebration!

And because I still haven't managed to figure out how to post more than one pic, I decided to cram all my canvases into one photo.
Awesome, right??

Anyway ... I've finally found a use for all those canvases I've been collecting over the years ... all sizes!

Some of my work incorporates a local character newspaper into the main design ... like some of the pelicans and some of the leaping fish are made using torn papers and homemade decoupage.

I don't consider myself a multi-media artist,
but I think it's fun to take a closer look at each painting
and discover the town name printed somewhere in the design!

On the other canvases, I've decoupaged portions of articles
about local fishing and other community news.

Just for fun.

Just because it's Earth Day ...on Grand Lake!

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!!!

Peace Out
